We started with a dream to open a private practice that offers top-notch Physical Therapy services that specializes in Pelvic Floor, Lymphedema, and all your Physical Therapy needs.
We named our company "U FIRST" for two reasons: it highlights that our clients come first, emphasizing the importance of your goals, and it reflects the last name of our founder, which also starts with a "U." This name represents our commitment to teamwork and creating positive changes in the lives of those we serve.
We offer personalized one-on-one sessions with your dedicated physical therapist, ensuring that your individual needs are met. We are here to fully support you, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that provides a safe space for your healing journey.
Meet our Physical Therapist
She is the founder of U First Physical Therapy and Wellness, PLLC.
Dr. Jeanne Ubalde, PT, DPT has been a Physical Therapist for over 15 years. She graduated first in her class with high honors in 2009, from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Philippines with her bachelor’s in science in Physical Therapy. She completed her post-doctoral degree in Physical Therapy through Evidence in Motion in 2022. She is a seasoned and diverse clinician and have earned several professional certifications throughout her career.
She completed her Advanced Pelvic Health Certification (PHC), which is a 12-month comprehensive training for Pelvic Health through Evidence in Motion. She is also a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist for pregnancy, and post-partum.
Dr. Jeanne is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) through Norton School of Lymphatics.
She is Certified in the following, and this allows her to treat all diagnoses for all population type.
Dry Needling (Cert. DN 1, 2 and Pelvic Floor)
Certified in LSVT-BIG (Parkinson’s program)
Certified Stroke Rehab Specialist (CSRS)
Certified in Vestibular and Concussion management
Graston Technique Provider (GT-provider)
CrossFit level 1 trainer Certificate (CF-OL1)
She is a credentialed clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and enjoys having students in clinic, as well as giving lectures for the local PTA program.
She lives Longview, Texas with her family. Her husband is also a seasoned Physical Therapist, and they have two wonderful sons. She likes arts/crafts, travelling, trying out different cuisines, and CrossFit.
